Accident Scene Management training is an exciting new training opportunity being offered at the 2007 BMW MOA International Rally. Accident Scene Management, Inc. is the premier organization in the United States providing training for motorcyclists who may need to know how to respond effectively and efficiently in the event of a motorcycle crash or other vehicle accident. ASMI provides training nationwide, often to fire departments and other first responder organizations so they are better trained specifically to respond to motorcycle accidents.
ASMI will offer both their full day course and short course seminars at West Bend. The Accident Scene Management full day basic course is aimed directly at riders who may need to help a fallen rider, and will be offered on Wednesday, July 11, the day preceding the official start of the rally. The Foundation is underwriting part of the cost for course participants. The registration fee will be $15, plus $10 for course materials. This excellent training will be well worth the extra day spent at West Bend. Participants who have taken this course at other venues consistently praise the value of this training.
